Recording Your Life: Cesar Kuriyama On Crowdfunding ‘1 Second Everyday’, TED Talks & ‘Chef’ Movie
Imagine a movie that includes everyday of the rest of your life. What would you choose to remember?
TED speaker and creator of the ‘1-Second Everyday’ app, Cesar Kuriyama, is our guest in this episode of Crowd Scene. Cesar remembers exactly what he has been doing every day for the last five years. And that’s thanks to the app he created, called ‘1-Second Everyday’. In this episode, Cesar explains how ‘1-Second Everyday’ works, how he was selected to do a TED Talk that’s been viewed over a million times, and how that led to a massively successful Kickstarter and his work being featured recently in a recent hit film. And all it started with quitting his job.
Cesar’s Kickstarter campaign attracted a huge amount of media attention and more than 11,000 backers, who shared his passion for this project and raised close to $60,000.
